17,000 union members and workers participate in 'Union Meal'

On July 31, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with Ching Luh Vietnam Shoes Company Limited (in Thuan Dao Industrial Park, Ben Luc Commune, Tay Ninh Province) to organize a "Union Meal" for union members and workers.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Hoai Thanh visited and talked with workers and laborers in the program "Union Meal"

"Union Meal" served 17,000 meals to union members and employees of Ching Luh Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. Each meal cost 51,000 VND, jointly organized by the Company and the grassroots Union; of which, the Company supported 21,000 VND/meal, the grassroots Union supported 30,000 VND/meal.

In the "Union Meal" program, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 70 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift was worth 1 million VND.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Duong Dai Loc said: “The union meal is not simply a daily meal but also an opportunity to show the care, sharing and attachment between the union organization and union members and workers. This is also a deeply humane activity, clearly demonstrating the role of the union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers”./.
