2 children drowned to tragic death

QTO - On the evening of September 3, information from the People's Committee of Gio Linh commune, Quang Tri province said that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of 2 children.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, DTTL (10 years old), residing in village 9, Gio Linh commune, and PTBH (7 years old), residing in Quarter 4, Nam Dong Ha ward, and another friend went to play under Ben Sanh bridge when the unfortunate incident happened.

Upon receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 4 under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police immediately arrived at the scene and deployed rescue forces.

At 5:50 p.m. the same day, the bodies of PTBH and DTTL were found at Ben Sanh Lake, Gio Linh Commune.

Currently, the authorities are carrying out procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements.
