Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema and FPT University are the first two schools in the country to announce admission scores for the 2025-2026 school year.

FPT University is the first higher education institution to announce the admission scores for the 2025 regular university program based on high school graduation exam results.

According to the announcement, the admission score for the regular university system based on the high school graduation exam results according to the school's flexible combination is 18.5 points. For first-generation candidates (the first person in the family including parents or guardians and all siblings to attend university), the school announced the admission score is 17 points. This score applies to all training majors and facilities of FPT University nationwide in the 2025 admission period.

In addition to considering admission based on high school graduation exam results and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , FPT University also considers academic records, competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University or Ho Chi Minh City National University and many other methods.

For the transcript review, candidates need to reach the Top 50 (or Top 55 for first generation candidates) on the SchoolRank system, and have a total score of Math and two elective subjects of the second semester of grade 12 of 21 points or more.

With the method of considering the capacity assessment test scores, candidates need to achieve 78 points in the capacity assessment test of Hanoi National University or 653 points in Ho Chi Minh City National University.

According to the school's announcement, from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times.

Candidates whose names are on the list of candidates who passed the 2025 regular university entrance exam (except for the high school graduation requirement) must register and adjust their wishes within the prescribed time as above. If candidates do not register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, it means that they will give up their right to be admitted to the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.

In 2025, Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema will enroll students by combining high school academic results with aptitude test scores to consider and enroll students in 11 majors.

Candidates must also consider their grade 12 Literature or Mathematics transcript scores according to the requirements of each major/specialization they register for. The scores of these subjects must meet the minimum requirements to complete the general education program (average score of 5.0 or higher).

Last year, the school's highest benchmark score was 20.5 in Festival Event Directing and Makeup Arts.
