Three students died from drowning in Quang Ngai.

On the morning of May 23, Mr. Tran Cong Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Truong Giang commune, Quang Ngai province, confirmed that a tragic drowning incident had occurred in the area, resulting in the deaths of three students.

At approximately 8:45 AM on May 23rd, authorities found the bodies of three children: Ng.TQN (born in 2015), NQQ (born in 2013), and Ng.TH (born in 2015), all residing in Hamlet 2, Minh Thanh Village, Truong Giang Commune.

Earlier, on the afternoon of May 22nd, Ng.TQN was driving an electric motorbike carrying NQQ and Ng.TH to the Tra Khuc River area in Hamlet 4, Minh Khanh Village, Truong Giang Commune, to swim. While playing in the water, all three children were unfortunately swept away by the current and went missing.

Immediately after receiving the report, local authorities, police, rescue forces, and a large number of people arrived at the scene to organize a search.

After many hours of searching, at approximately 8:45 AM on May 23rd, the bodies of the children were found.

The Truong Giang commune authorities are coordinating with the families to arrange the funerals for the victims. At the same time, they continue to advise people to strengthen supervision of children during the summer holidays to prevent tragic drowning accidents.
