300 students participated in the "Excellent Students" Forum.

On the afternoon of January 8th, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association of Vinh Long province, organized the forum "5 Good Students - Promoting 5 Good Students After Commendation".

On the afternoon of January 8th, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association of Vinh Long province, organized the forum "5 Good Students - Promoting 5 Good Students After Commendation".

Comrade Phan Thanh Tre – Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union and Tran Thi Ngoc Thoai – Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association of Vinh Long province, chaired the forum.

The program was held online, with 300 students participating at 3 locations; the main location was at the Western University of Construction, and the other two locations were at Tra Vinh University and Ben Tre College.

Participating students listened to presentations and discussions from representatives of various schools and outstanding individuals. The presentations focused on solutions such as: the role of the Student Union at the grassroots level in promoting the "Excellent Student" title after the awards ceremony; the training of students who have achieved this title; the activities of clubs, teams, and groups; the application of digital transformation in the implementation and management of student movements; and promoting creativity and scientific and technical research among students.

According to the Organizing Committee, the forum aims to affirm the significance and role of the "Excellent Student" title in the comprehensive development of students; and at the same time, create an environment for the "Excellent Students" who have been honored to continue setting examples, inspiring others, and contributing to the movement, activities of the Student Union and the university.

The program also provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and propose innovative solutions for the content and methods of implementing the movement in the next phase.

The forum is one of the provincial-level activities celebrating the 76th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Union (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2026). On this occasion, the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Union of Vinh Long province announced the decision to reorganize the "5 Good Students" Club of Vinh Long province.
