According to the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), EVNSPC directed its affiliated units to coordinate with the contractor and relevant units to energize the Tra On 110kV Substation and the 110kV connecting power line at 9:27 PM on May 31st.

The 110kV Tra On substation has a capacity of 1x40MVA, a connecting line length of 0.12 km, and a total investment of nearly 80 billion VND.
The project aims to meet the load demand in the Tra On area, relieve the load on the 110kV Vung Liem substation, and improve the reliability of electricity supply according to the N-1 criterion. At the same time, it contributes to improving voltage quality, reducing power losses, strengthening the 110kV grid connectivity in the area, and serving local socio -economic development.
During implementation, the project encountered numerous difficulties such as obstacles in compensation and land clearance; unstable supply of materials and equipment, fluctuating prices; unfavorable weather conditions; and high deadline pressure. However, thanks to the timely guidance of EVNSPC leaders, the close coordination of relevant units, and the efforts of officials, engineers, and workers on the construction site, the construction progress basically met the set plan, contributing to ensuring the overall objectives of the project.
