According to the Department of Transport, up to now, the contractors of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay sections have repaired 11 sections, leaving 36 unrepaired sections, of which in Tuy Phong district, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao section has 1 section managed by Binh Thuan Irrigation Construction and Engineering Company Limited that was damaged due to the transportation of materials for the expressway construction. Currently, the contractor has repaired and patched during use, and is expected to return it to the management unit by the end of the first quarter of 2024. The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet section has 6 sections damaged due to the transportation of materials for the expressway construction. Currently, through the review of the Department of Transport for the sections managed by the Department of Transport, the expressway contractors have repaired and returned 6 sections managed by the district and Binh Thuan Irrigation Construction and Engineering Company Limited.

In Bac Binh district, there are 19 sections of road damaged due to the transportation of materials for the construction of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway. The People's Committee of Bac Binh district and the Department of Transport (for the road sections managed by the Department of Transport) have inspected and reviewed 1 road section managed by the district that has been repaired and returned by the expressway contractor; the remaining 18 road sections have not been repaired and returned (including 15 road sections managed by the district and 3 road sections managed by the Department of Transport). In Ham Thuan Bac district, there are 7 road sections damaged due to the transportation of materials for the construction of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway. Currently, through the inspection of the Department of Transport (for the road sections managed by the Department of Transport) and the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Bac district, the contractor has not yet repaired the road sections (5 road sections managed by the district, 2 road sections managed by the Department of Transport). According to the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Bac district, the district has worked and Project Management Board 7 has agreed to repair the above road sections before December 15, 2023. For Ham Thuan Nam district There are 9 sections damaged by the transportation of materials for the construction of the expressway, including: 4 sections of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet section and 5 sections of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay section. The contractor has not repaired 4 sections of 3 routes in the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet section (2 sections managed by the district, 1 section managed by Binh Thuan Irrigation Construction and Engineering Company Limited and 1 section managed by the Department of Transport). The contractor has repaired and restored 3 sections of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay section. The remaining 2 sections that have not been repaired are 1 section managed by the district and 1 section managed by Binh Thuan Irrigation Construction and Engineering Company Limited. In Ham Tan district, there are 6 sections damaged by the transportation of materials for the construction of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway. Currently, according to the report of the Ham Tan District People's Committee and the review results of the Department of Transport (for the sections managed by the Department of Transport), the contractor has repaired and restored them. 1 section completed, 1 section under repair, 4 remaining sections have not been repaired (of which 3 sections are managed by the district and 1 section is managed by the Department of Transport).

Through meetings with voters, people in the province are quite upset because the units are slow in implementing the construction, repair and restoration of residential roads.
