A special artistic journey called "The Road of History" was jointly organized by VTV and the Ministry of National Defense to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

The "four-legged warriors" will appear in the special program "The Road of History" on the evening of December 21.

The program took place at the Vietnam Military History Museum with the participation of about 3,000 artists, officers and soldiers representing forces such as the navy, army, air force, special forces... for martial arts performances, visual arts performances, reenactments of some major battles...

Thousands of types of weapons and equipment will be present, from weapons, equipment, vehicles, and means used throughout the length of wars to current defense products such as radar systems or military UAVs ... The production team also mobilized 80 carts to recreate the image of "the road to Dien Bien".

These are the military dogs that have completed their mission excellently.

In particular, the program will feature 40 military dogs (service dogs) from the Border Guard force that have successfully completed their missions in rescue and relief work during the recent storms and floods as well as international missions in Türkiye. These factors have partly demonstrated the quality of the content and scale of the program.

Starting from two majors of training fighting dogs and training guard dogs to protect targets, up to now, the school has developed into five training majors, including: Fighting dogs; drug detection dogs; explosive detection dogs; search and rescue dogs and dogs that identify sources of odor, supporting criminal investigations.

Working dogs are all descended from German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois breeds.

At the age of 10 to 12 months, each dog continues to undergo at least the next 12 months of training and education. After that, the school will establish a dog selection committee to officially train them in each specialty. Depending on the ability, appearance, and nerves of each dog, they will be trained in the appropriate specialties.
