The commune Party Committee has 65 affiliated grassroots party organizations and nearly 2,300 party members. The National Target Program on New Rural Development achieved outstanding results with 1 commune recognized as meeting the model new rural standards, 2 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards and Quan Lao town meeting the civilized urban standards.

In particular, the commune has exploited the potential and advantages of industrial and construction development, contributing greatly to the growth of the commune's product value.
