Accordingly, the Central Office and Agribank Hue City branch went to the communes and wards that were deeply flooded and suffered heavy damage to present social security support gifts. The working groups presented 2 billion VND from social security sources, including 50 million VND for each of the 20 communes and wards that were deeply flooded, with a total value of 1 billion VND; and 1 billion VND was given to schools, medical centers and some low-lying and deeply flooded units in the area.

Previously, the Agribank delegation, led by Agribank General Director Pham Toan Vuong, visited, encouraged and supported customers in Hue City who suffered heavy losses due to the recent floods. Also during this period, Agribank supported Da Nang City with 4 billion VND and Quang Ngai Province with 1 billion VND.

The Board of Directors and the Agribank Trade Union also requested branches in the damaged areas to urgently compile statistics on the level of impact on customers, production households, families of officials and workers to have appropriate credit support policies, interest rate reductions, and debt extensions, helping people and businesses quickly restore production; supporting officials, employees and workers to soon stabilize their lives.
