Ham Thuan Nam Commune donated more than 215 million VND to support people in flood-affected areas.

After 3 days of launching (from November 3 to 5), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Nam commune (Lam Dong) mobilized donations of more than 215 million VND to support people in the province affected by floods.

Officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of Ham Thuan Nam commune participated in supporting people affected by natural disasters in Lam Dong province.

Recently, due to the impact of storms and consecutive floods, many localities in Lam Dong province have suffered heavy damage to traffic works, houses, fields and gardens, seriously affecting people's lives and production.

Ham Thuan Nam Commune has raised a total of more than 215 million VND.

Faced with that situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Nam commune called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, businesses and people in the area to uphold the spirit of "Mutual love and affection", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", and join hands to support compatriots in disaster-stricken areas.

As a result, after 3 days of launching, Ham Thuan Nam commune received a total amount of more than 215 million VND. Of which, Ham Thuan Nam High School donated more than 56 million VND; commune officials, civil servants, and public employees contributed more than 16 million VND; Thuan Nam 2 Primary School donated more than 17 million VND; Minh Thanh village donated more than 15 million VND... and many other collectives and individuals in the area actively responded.

The entire amount of money raised will soon be transferred to localities in the province affected by natural disasters, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the flood.
