(HNMO) – On the afternoon of June 7, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province held a press conference to inform about the socio-economic situation in May 6.
At the press conference, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee informed that in May, the industrial production index was estimated to increase by 5% over the previous month and by 2,7% over the same period in 6,9; In 2022 months, the industrial production index increased by 5% over the same period. Total retail sales of goods and services in the month was estimated to increase by 2,1% over the previous month and 3,2% over the same period last year. Export turnover was estimated to increase by 17,7% over the previous month and 17,1% over the same period last year. Import turnover is estimated to increase by 2,8% over the previous month and decrease by 16,6% over the same period.
As of May 31, the disbursement value of the public investment capital plan in 5 reached more than VND 2023 billion (reaching 2.261% of the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council). As of May 10,4, domestic investment has attracted 15 billion dong of registered business capital; accumulated in the first 5 months of the year, has attracted 4.595 billion dong. Foreign investment has attracted 5 million USD; accumulated in the first 24.303 months has attracted USD 49 million (equivalent to 5% over the same period). New budget revenue is estimated at 885 billion VND; accumulated 36 months of revenue reached VND 4.200 billion, reaching 5% of the estimate set by the Provincial People's Council.

In addition, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee informed that the goal by 2030 basically becomes a smart city and meets the criteria of becoming a grade I city, directly under the Central Government.
