5 communes meet new rural model standards in 2023

On October 24, 25 and 29, the Provincial Survey and Appraisal Team conducted a survey and appraisal of the records and the level of achievement of the model new rural standards of Yen Chinh and Yen Khang communes in district Y Yen; and Nghia Loi, Nghia Phu, Nghia Son communes in district Nghia Hung.

During the appraisal and survey process, all 5 communes met 4/4 conditions for recognition as a model new-style rural commune as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 4 of Decision No. 18/2022/QD-TTg dated August 2, 2022 of the Prime Minister; fully met the standard level as required by the regulations on model new-style rural communes for the period 2021-2025; had no outstanding debt for basic construction under the National Target Program on new-style rural construction as of December 31, 2023; average income per capita in 2023 reached over 80 million VND.

The satisfaction rate of local people with the results of building a new rural model in Yen Chinh commune reached 99.75%, Nghia Loi commune reached 98.74%, Nghia Phu commune reached 98.52%, Nghia Son commune reached 99.45%, Yen Khang commune reached 99.41%, all meeting the requirements according to regulations. The 5 communes are not complicated in terms of security and order according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security .

Nghia Phu, Nghia Son and Yen Chinh communes meet the NTM standards in the field of Digital Transformation; Nghia Loi commune meets the outstanding NTM model standards in the field of Education ; Yen Khang commune meets the outstanding NTM model standards in the field of Culture.

Concluding the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung highly appreciated the efforts of the 5 communes to complete the goal of building a model new-style rural commune under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Tran Anh Dung requested the leaders of departments and branches, members of the Provincial Appraisal Council, to strictly comply with the regulations in reviewing, appraising and recognizing 5 communes that have met the model NTM standards. Localities continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on mobilizing resources to maintain and improve the quality of the model NTM criteria.

Departments, branches, districts of Ý Yên, Nghĩa Hưng and the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office focus on completing documents according to regulations to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to recognize 5 communes meeting the model new rural area standards in 2023 on November 7, 2024.
