This is one of the biggest creative playgrounds for young people in the summer of 2025, attracting a large number of young people who love filmmaking and storytelling through images. The unique feature of the competition is that teams are required to produce a short film of 3-5 minutes within exactly 24 hours, including all stages: scriptwriting, filming, editing, and post-production. In addition to the main work, each team must also submit creative check-in photos, a promotional video , and behind-the-scenes clips.

After the script screening round, 45 teams with feasible and creative ideas were selected for the production round. Each team randomly drew a "story prompt" along with a mandatory traditional cultural element such as banh chung (Vietnamese rice cake), conical hat, traditional folk music or cải lương (Vietnamese opera), combined with a given film genre such as horror, action, detective, historical, etc., creating unique and unexpected challenges.

According to Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Hang, Head of the Organizing Committee, the competition is an opportunity for young people to retell stories of Vietnamese culture and history from a modern perspective, spreading national pride through film and technology. The competition also benefits from the support and professional guidance of prestigious judges such as director Dung Nghe, screenwriter Nguyen My Trang, D.OP director Nguyen Tuong Phuong Nguyen, along with artists Kim Tuyen, Doan Minh Tai, producer Kay Nguyen, and journalist Truong Kieu Nga.

The premiere and awards ceremony will take place at 7 PM on July 20th at the Idecaf Stage (Ho Chi Minh City). This is not only a place to honor the best teams but also a night to screen the 5 films that made it to the final round, with the participation of judges, film experts, sponsors, media, and a large number of young film enthusiasts.

The total prize value amounts to 650 million VND, with the winning team for "Best Short Film" receiving a 3-day, 2-night trip to Singapore to produce a film in an international environment, fully sponsored by Furen International School. Awards for specific categories (Director, Cinematographer, Actor, Screenplay, Most Popular Film) will include cash prizes, commemorative plaques, and English language scholarships from partner organizations...
