On the afternoon of July 18th, at a socio -economic press conference, Ms. Vo Ngoc Diep, Head of the Accommodation Management Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, provided further information about the program offering free or discounted first-night accommodation for passengers flying to Ho Chi Minh City at night. According to Ms. Diep, this program was launched in July and August and applies to six routes: Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, and Hue, and vice versa. Ms. Diep noted that Vietnam Airlines currently only operates night flights on these routes. To date, 16 accommodation establishments have registered to participate, including: Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon, EMM Hotel Saigon, Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint, Liberty Central Saigon Riverside, Dong Khanh, A25, Lotte Hotel Saigon, Silverland Yen, The Myst, Silverland Sakyo, Silverland May, Liberty Central Saigon Centre, Nicecy Hotel Co., Ltd., Metro Point Hotel Co., Ltd., Lafelix Hotel Co., Ltd., and a branch of Emerald Boutique Hotel Co., Ltd. These establishments offer discounts ranging from 20% to free for the first night. From the second night onwards, the listed price applies, or a 60% discount applies. To use this service, residents and tourists must take a Vietnam Airlines night flight between 6 AM and 9 PM.

Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism also stated that this policy is advantageous for family groups, independent travelers, government employees attending meetings, and young people with limited time.
