The family of Ms. Tran Hien Phuong (in Hanoi ) has gone camping in many places before, but this time they decided to "change the wind" and choose Moc Chau as their picnic spot after Tet. They chose to camp in a plum garden in Na Ka valley, more than 10km from the center of Moc Chau (Photo: Hien Phuong). "My family decided to camp here because the plum blossoms around this garden are at their most beautiful. In addition, we have children, so we are very concerned about the security and safety of our family members. I want my children to fully enjoy the feeling of being immersed in nature, preserving their childhood years close to trees and grass," said Ms. Phuong (Photo: Hien Phuong). During two nights camping in the plum garden, Ms. Phuong and her family enjoyed participating in the campfire activity. Here, the garden owner provides firewood for guests to experience and hot pots, bowls and plates if needed. Ms. Phuong also revealed that the downside of camping in the middle of a plum garden is that the toilet area is quite far from the tent. "After the traditional Tet holiday, having to travel a lot, the need to rest before starting work is essential. Camping in a beautiful flower garden that is no different from abroad in cold weather of 2-3 degrees Celsius is a very special experience for my family. Mr. Nguyen Son, owner of a 1-hectare ancient plum garden with 500 trees in Na Ka valley, said that on average, he welcomes about 50 visitors each week, mainly families bringing their children to experience camping on weekends (Photo: Ha Phuong Lan). The plum garden has tents, electricity, water and toilets, which visitors can rent for 250,000 VND/tent/day. In addition, the garden owner also serves rustic dishes for guests to enjoy such as grilled chicken, boiled cat cabbage, rice or sticky rice upon request (Photo: Hung Minh Pham). From Hanoi, to get to Moc Chau, visitors can drive their own car, take a bus, or a limousine departing from My Dinh station with a ticket price of about 160,000 - 200,000 VND/person/way or book a sleeper bus to Bac Son, Hai Van, etc. if traveling at night. Upon arrival, visitors can rent a taxi or motorbike here to freely explore and experience unique destinations.
Tourists coming to Moc Chau to camp at this time need to follow the weather forecast and fully equip themselves with necessary items because the temperature here at night can drop very low.
