Each concert by the "Nightingale of England" always brings together the most exquisite designs from a series of international fashion houses. And in Munich, the name Cong Tri was once again mentioned with great reverence when he appeared alongside Adele before 800,000 music lovers from around the world.
The Vietnamese fashion house's partnership with the female singer has lasted for almost a year and a half since their first collaboration.
In February 2023, the public was treated to a dress called "Fireworks" - a unique design that Cong Tri created exclusively for Adele for her performance at "Weekends with Adele".
Right on this stage, the second dress, with its goddess-inspired beauty, was also created by the Vietnamese fashion house.
Recently, Cong Tri continued his collaboration with Adele by preparing the costumes for the "Adele In Munich" event - a concert series honored by Billboard magazine as a "super concert" in terms of both influence and revenue.
The outfit that designer Cong Tri prepared for Adele is called "Night Sea".
The fashion designer, originally from Da Nang, found inspiration in the most familiar element of his hometown: the waves crashing against the shore with their gentle, continuous, endless, and boundless rhythm.
Especially when the moon rises, the foamy waves glisten on the sea's surface, reflecting the star-filled night sky – at that moment, the sea and the night seem to merge into one in a deep blackness.
That idea was expressed through high-quality velvet fabric combined with a series of Swarovski crystal embellishments along with beads, sequins, etc. The artisans completed the outfit in about 500 hours of work.
Going beyond the definition of a mere garment, Cong Tri's unique designs have sparked the public's imagination as works of art.
The fashion house explained this in detail: if the bottom of the skirt is embellished with a swirling pattern resembling ocean currents, the bodice is covered with countless sequins and crystals to capture the beauty of stars in the night sky.
