Implementing the Government's policy on the Project to develop 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice in the Mekong Delta, Agribank is implementing a preferential credit program for customers participating in the production, processing and consumption of rice products according to the Project.

Agribank implements preferential credit program to serve the Project of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice in the Mekong Delta.

As the key bank in developing “Tam Nong”, Agribank implements preferential credit programs to meet short, medium and long-term capital needs for the entire rice chain from production, purchasing to processing and consumption, contributing to realizing the goal of improving the quality and value of the national strategic industry.

The subjects of the program include individuals, farming households; cooperatives; cooperatives, production and consumption-linked enterprises; and enterprises providing related services to implement the Project of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice in the Mekong Delta.

With the bank's resources, Agribank supports interest rates for individuals, farming households, and cooperatives 1.0%/year lower than the normal lending interest rate floor for production and business activities and supports interest rates for cooperatives and enterprises 1.0% - 1.5%/year lower than the normal lending interest rate floor in VND.

In recent times, Agribank has actively and promptly disbursed capital, ensuring capital sources for production and business, not allowing capital shortages to affect the progress of the Project.
