V.League Awards is an annual event organized by the Organizing Committee of National Professional Football Tournaments to honor individuals and groups with outstanding contributions throughout the season. The event not only recognizes professional achievements but also contributes to spreading cultural values, connecting the spirit of sports with traditional national identity.
The 2024/2025 season marks a special milestone – the 25th anniversary of the formation and development of Vietnamese professional football. With many memorable milestones, the tournament not only witnessed impressive achievements of the clubs but also continued to affirm its role as a sustainable development platform, providing quality human resources for national teams, contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese football in the international arena.
One of the highlights of the season is the implementation of VAR technology - with more than 90% of matches in LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 applying this modern referee support system. In addition, VAR will also be used in important matches of the National First Division 2024/2025, from the Quarterfinals of the National Cup 2024/25 to the Play-off match of Bia Sao Vang 2024/2025. This is a testament to the Organizing Committee's continuous efforts in modernizing and improving the quality of tournaments. The application of VAR not only helps increase transparency and accuracy in the management but also becomes an indispensable part of the professional competition system.
The 2024/2025 season will also witness dramatic point chases that last until the final round. The spirit of dedication, pride in the colors and unique identities of each team are fully demonstrated through each match. Professional football tournaments are increasingly affirming their position as attractive spiritual food for fans, as well as a symbol of pride, cultural and community cohesion.
At this year's awards ceremony, CAHN Club was honored in many categories. In terms of individual awards, player Alan Sebastiao Alexandre was voted the best player of V.League 2024/2025. He was also the co-top scorer of the season, along with striker Goncalves Silva Lucas Vinicius (Hai Phong Club). In addition, Alan and two teammates at CAHN Club, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai and defender Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, were also included in the V.League 2024/2025 Best Team. CAHN Club was also recognized as one of the teams with the best quality playing field of the season.
At the National First Division, PVF CAND Club was also honored in many individual and collective categories, including: Club with the best field, Match Organizing Committee with excellent performance, and Best Young Player (Nguyen Hieu Minh - No. 4)...
Before the award ceremony, there were 3 players who all scored 14 goals: Alan Sebastiao Alexandre (No. 72, CAHN Club); Goncalves Silva Lucas Vinicius (No. 9, Hai Phong Club) and Nguyen Tien Linh (Becamex Binh Duong Club). However, after reviewing the data, the organizing committee decided that the goal scored in the 90+3 minute in the match between Becamex Binh Duong Club and Hai Phong Club (Round 25 LPBank V.League 1-2024/25) was counted as an own goal from a clearance by defender Bui Tien Dung (No. 16, Hai Phong Club). Therefore, Tien Linh's number of goals decreased from 14 to 13.
