In episode 10 of "Brother Says Hi," the two losing teams, Erik and Rhyder, advanced to the 3rd-4th place match. Meanwhile, the two winning teams, Anh Tú Atus and HURRYKNG, competed for 1st and 2nd place.
The rules in episode 10 are very strict; only the team that wins first place will retain their members to advance to livestage 4.
Accordingly, the second-place team will have two members in the danger zone, and at least one will be eliminated. The third-place team will have three members in the danger zone, and at least two will be eliminated. Finally, in the fourth-place team, except for the player with the highest individual score, all remaining members will be in the danger zone.
As announced by MC Tran Thanh, six "brothers" will be eliminated after livestage 3.
The two teams competing for 3rd and 4th place are Erik and Rhyder. Erik's team members include Hung Huynh, Jsol, Duc Phuc, and Quan AP, while Rhyder's team members include Captain, Quang Hung MasterD, Wean Le, and Ali Hoang Duong.
In the recently released trailer for episode 11, many names from Erik and Rhyder's team have "disappeared," meaning they have been eliminated from the show.
Ali Hoang Duong is at the top of the list of potential eliminations, consistently ranking near the bottom in individual scores and also being a member of the team competing for 3rd-4th place. Ali Hoang Duong is also absent from the trailer for the new episode.
Ali Hoang Duong was the winner of The Voice Vietnam in 2017; however, when participating in "Brother Says Hi," Ali was criticized for being monotonous, bland, and lacking the skills of the other versatile "brothers."
Along with Ali Hoang Duong, another winner of The Voice Vietnam, Duc Phuc, is also suspected of being eliminated from the "Brother Says Hi" competition. Although he showed more talent than Ali Hoang Duong and had better ideas for staging his performance, in a competition with so many prominent names like "Brother Says Hi," Duc Phuc was still overshadowed.
If Duc Phuc is eliminated, it will likely be a major blow to Erik. They've been close friends for many years, always supporting and encouraging each other in their projects. When Erik became team captain, Duc Phuc was the member he most wanted on his team. Erik once believed that, working alongside Duc Phuc, they would form a strong, invincible team. Having to compete for 3rd-4th place was probably unexpected for both Erik and Duc Phuc.
Among the members facing elimination, Quang Hung MasterD is the most regrettable. In "Anh trai say hi," Quang Hung, with his versatility—composing, producing music, and performing professionally—was always a sought-after member by the team captains.
As Quang Hung MasterD progressed further in the competition, he overcame his vocal weaknesses and shone brightly with performances of "Catch Me If You Can," "Just Let Him Leave," etc. However, by joining Rhyder's team, if they finish last, Quang Hung MasterD has a high chance of being eliminated along with Ali Hoang Duong.
Captain Boy, with his outstanding performances in recent episodes, is expected to make it through to the elimination round. Furthermore, the rules state that the team that finishes first will have the right to save one member in the elimination round. Many believe that if HURRYKNG finishes first, he will choose to save Wean Le. Wean Le currently has a very high individual score, ranking first after Livestage 3.
In Erik's team, most of the remaining members are in danger of elimination. However, in the trailer revealing which members will advance after livestage 3, viewers spotted Erik and Quân AP. Thus, one of the two names, Hùng Huỳnh or Jsol, will face the risk of elimination along with Đức Phúc. These two names will also be regrettable because Hùng Huỳnh has shown some of the most skillful and visually stunning dance abilities in the program, while Jsol is relatively versatile.
