An Giang: Announcing the leaders of socio-political organizations under the Fatherland Front Committee

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of July 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of An Giang province held a ceremony to announce decisions on the organization of cadres of the VFF and socio-political organizations of the province.

Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of National Assembly Delegation of An Giang province, Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Tran Thi Thanh Huong attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai congratulated 147 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province for the 2024-2029 term, leaders of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the province who were entrusted by the Party Committee with new responsibilities and tasks in this period.

This is the result of persistent efforts and constant endeavors, the recognition of the Party and the collective for the dedication and contributions of the comrades, and also the honor and responsibility of the comrades themselves towards An Giang province.

"In the coming time, An Giang province will continue to face many great opportunities but also many difficulties and challenges, requiring each organization and each cadre, especially cadres in the Front, to have courage and be truly sensitive to be the leading force in listening to the people, speaking the voice of the people and contributing to solving the urgent problems of the people. You comrades not only represent the voice of the people, but also convey and spread the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to every alley and every community," the Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee expressed.

At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front announced the decision to recognize the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province for the 2024-2029 term, including 10 men and women; the decision to recognize 147 men and women as members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province for the 2024-2029 term.

Accordingly, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Confederation, term 2023-2028.

Specifically, appointing comrade Do Tran Thinh to hold the position of Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation; appointing 2 comrades Nguyen Nhat Tien and Pham Van Dang to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation. Appointing 7 comrades as members of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, 13 comrades as members of the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation; appointing 8 comrades to hold positions in the Inspection Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation.

The Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union announced the decision to appoint members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term.

Specifically, comrade Nguyen Van Cop was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association; 3 comrades: Lam Quoc Toan, Phan Tung Lam, Nguyen Minh Duc were appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association. 9 comrades were appointed to hold the position of Standing Committee member of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association; 23 comrades were appointed to hold the position of Executive Committee member of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association.

The Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Provisional Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of An Giang province.

Specifically, comrade Phan Duy Bang was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of An Giang province; 3 comrades: Thi Phuong Hong, Du Pham Huu Khuyen, Ho Thi Hong Phuong were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union.

The Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, President and Vice President of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term.

Appoint comrade Truong Thanh Thuy to hold the position of President of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union; appoint 3 comrades: Le Thi Ngoc Dung, Thai Thi Duy Ngan, Nguyen Thi Quyen to hold the position of Vice Presidents of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union.

The Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee, Head of Inspection Committee of the An Giang Provincial Veterans Association, term 2022-2027.

Appoint comrade Bui Vu Tan to hold the position of Chairman of the Veterans Association of An Giang province; appoint 3 comrades: Tran Thien My, Bui Thanh Chau, Nguyen Huu Thanh to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the Veterans Association of An Giang province.

After the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province held its first conference for the 2024-2029 term. The conference discussed and consulted on the operating regulations of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province for the 2024-2029 term; oriented some key tasks and activities from now until the end of 2025, and oriented key tasks of the Front in 2026.
