Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) - a historic storm with devastating force that hit Vietnam - caused heavy losses of life and property in the North, including Phu Tho province. After the storm, the sharing and assistance from organizations and individuals warmed the hearts of the people in the flooded areas.

Vietnam Chemical Corporation supports efforts to mitigate damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 through the provincial relief fund.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, many agencies, units, organizations, and individuals both domestically and internationally have contributed through the Relief Fund to promptly support localities affected by natural disasters in stabilizing their lives.

Many provinces and cities have sent gifts to the people of Phu Tho, contributing to the recovery efforts after Typhoon No. 3 and its aftermath, including Hanoi , Da Nang, Long An, Lam Dong, and Quang Nam provinces.

Through the Provincial Relief Fund, the following agencies, units, and businesses have donated: DEASANG Vietnam Co., Ltd. (300 million VND); Nghe An Provincial Police (100 million VND); MCT- Bac Ninh Co., Ltd. (100 million VND); Hung Vuong University (150 million VND); Vietnam Chemical Corporation (100 million VND) and many goods including PAC 31, VI-CHLORINE, and JAVEN chemicals to help treat drinking water, and sanitize factories and livestock farms during the flood season, worth 70 million VND; Viet Tri Industrial University (60 million VND); the Women's Committee of the Army in coordination with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, TECAPRO Corporation, and the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Special Forces Command (220 million VND); the General Department of Taxation (150 million VND); the Provincial Tax Department (50 million VND); Nam A Bank and the Miss Cosmo 2024 Organizing Committee (100 million VND). Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School (Viet Tri) donated 40 million VND...

Receiving donations from agencies and units, Comrade Nguyen Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Head of the Provincial Relief Campaign Committee - stated: The Provincial Relief Campaign Committee will use the donated funds appropriately and effectively, allocating them promptly, openly, and transparently, in accordance with the law, so that the received money reaches the people severely affected by the storms and floods. He also expressed the hope that organizations, businesses, and individuals will continue to spread the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," sharing and assisting people in overcoming the damage caused by natural disasters.

Not only local people but also kind-hearted individuals from all over the country have turned their attention to Phu Tho. Relief teams from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Binh Duong, Ha Tinh, and many other provinces and cities have brought shipments of aid filled with human kindness to the flood-affected people.

Many individuals volunteered, undeterred by long distances, to reach the most severely affected areas and personally deliver essential supplies to the people. The provincial and district Red Cross societies guided more than 100 volunteer groups to provide direct support in the flooded areas.

The Red Cross Society has received goods and essential supplies including sticky rice cakes, instant noodles, rice, milk, bottled water, ham, sausages, dried food... to provide timely relief to the people. The spirit of solidarity, brotherhood, and mutual support has been strengthened and spread strongly...

Immediately after the floodwaters receded, along with functional forces, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, thousands of youth union members in localities, and volunteer students from universities participated in supporting the cleaning of schools, offices, and medical facilities; helping people clean their houses; implementing disinfection and environmental sanitation measures in flooded areas; and assisting people in returning to their old homes...

Storms and floods may destroy material possessions, but they cannot extinguish the warmth of human kindness. Through the difficult days following the natural disaster, the people of Phu Tho have proven that unity is boundless strength, helping them overcome all hardships and challenges. The joint efforts of the entire political system and the generosity of people nationwide will help the people in the flood-affected areas quickly overcome the disaster and stabilize their production and lives.
