Impressive Three-leaf Boat Race

The traditional three-leaf boat race organized by the Youth Union of Vinh Loi commune has concluded, leaving many beautiful impressions in the hearts of the local people. From early morning, a large number of Youth Union members, young people, and local residents gathered along the canal banks, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

This year's competition brought together 32 teams from hamlets, departments, schools in the commune, and units belonging to Cluster No. 01 of the Provincial Youth Union (including 8 units: Vinh Loi Commune Youth Union, Bac Lieu Ward Youth Union, Hiep Thanh Ward Youth Union, Vinh Trach Ward Youth Union, Hung Hoi Commune Youth Union, Chau Thoi Commune Youth Union, Hoa Binh Commune Youth Union, and Vinh Hau Commune Youth Union). Each team consisted of 2 athletes competing in the 150-meter race. Although the distance was not long, it required excellent coordination, endurance, and skillful boat handling.

Besides the thrilling competitions, the tournament also witnessed some incidents where several teams unfortunately had their boats sink and had to be rescued by the rescue team to be brought safely ashore.
