NDO - On the afternoon of May 13, a large number of people and Buddhists gathered along the streets of Hanoi to welcome the Buddha's relics to Quan Su Pagoda (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) - the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha within the framework of the 2025 Vesak Festival.

On the afternoon of May 13, the Buddha's relics were brought to Quan Su Pagoda (Hanoi) by the Venerables of the Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam and India after being enshrined at Ba Den Mountain.

At exactly 3:00 p.m. on May 13, the procession carrying Buddha's relics departed from Noi Bai airport, bringing the relics to Quan Su Pagoda - the headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

On May 13, thousands of Buddhists and people gathered at Quan Su Pagoda, Hanoi City to welcome the procession carrying Buddha's relics.

Thousands of people with national flags and Buddhist flags eagerly awaited the moment of welcoming the Buddha's relics.

The procession carrying Buddha's relics entered Quan Su Pagoda. Although there were many Buddhists and people attending, everyone was conscious of maintaining order and not causing chaos so that the procession could solemnly enter the pagoda.

The space of Quan Su Pagoda was filled with the brilliant colors of five-colored flags and Buddhist symbols. At around 5 p.m., the procession arrived at Quan Su Pagoda. Hundreds of Buddhists lined up to welcome the Buddha's relics.

The place where the relics are enshrined is completed carefully and solemnly. Most Venerable Elder Thich Thanh Nhieu - Standing Member of the Council of Monks - emphasized that the procession of Buddha's relics around Hoan Kiem Lake is the most solemn and sacred ritual ever of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

At 7 p.m. the same day, the procession of Buddha's relics took place on the central streets of Hoan Kiem district such as: Ly Thuong Kiet - Hang Bai - Dinh Tien Hoang - Hoan Kiem Lake - Le Thai To - Ba Trieu and returned to Quan Su Pagoda.

The delegation performed the ceremony of bringing the Buddha's relics back to Quan Su Pagoda. From tomorrow, May 14, monks, nuns, Buddhists, locals and tourists coming to worship do not need to register in advance. The time for worshiping and paying respect to the Buddha's relics at Quan Su Pagoda is from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day from May 14 to May 16.
