NDO - On March 12, at Khuon Nha village, Quy Ky commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, Nhan Dan Newspaper held a groundbreaking ceremony for the restoration of the historical relic of the Printing House of Su That Newspaper - the predecessor of Nhan Dan Newspaper on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Nhan Dan Newspaper's first issue on March 11, 1951.

Going back in history, in the Spring of 1951, the Second National Congress of the Party held in Viet Bac passed a Resolution on the establishment and publication of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Central organ of the Vietnam Workers' Party.

In Khuon Nha village (also known as Ban Su That), Quy Ky commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, on March 11, 1951, Nhan Dan Newspaper published its first issue at Le Hong Phong Printing House. During the time working here, the people of all ethnic groups in Quy Ky commune, especially Khuon Nha village, wholeheartedly cared for, helped, and protected the safety of the publishing and distribution of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

This issue published many important contents, such as the Party Platform and Charter. The main political article by comrade Truong Chinh, for the first time publicly introducing President Ho Chi Minh as the leader of the Party and of our country, was also published in this issue. Along with that was an article titled “Our Congress…” by author Thep Moi, introducing general information about the process of the Second Party Congress and the historical significance of this event.

It can be said that this is a place of important historical significance in the formation and development of Nhan Dan Newspaper. In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the relic, build a "red address" in the work of educating historical traditions for generations of Nhan Dan Newspaper employees, and at the same time become a pilgrimage site to the source located in the ATK Dinh Hoa special national historical relic complex. Today, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the first issue, Nhan Dan Newspaper held a groundbreaking ceremony for this special project.
