On the 15th day of the 7th lunar month, known as the "Vu Lan Festival," most temples in Hanoi are bustling with people coming to pray for peace and happiness.

Quan Su Pagoda was crowded with people coming to offer incense, pray for peace and happiness, and express their respect and gratitude to their parents.

On this occasion, many temples organize the "Vu Lan Festival of Filial Piety" with solemn and sacred rituals, attracting thousands of people to participate: lectures on filial piety, the ceremony of pinning roses on clothing, releasing floating lanterns, prayers for the deceased, etc.

Vu Ha Thuong (born in 2003), a final-year student atFPT College, and her friend visited Phu Tay Ho at lunchtime. Today is the Vu Lan festival, a day to show filial piety, and Thuong offered prayers for peace and well-being for her family, wishing her parents good health and happiness.
