- Mr. Vuong Van Hau, 33 years old, currently a Chemistry teacher at Van Nham High School, Huu Lung District, Lang Son Province, has just been honored as one of the "100 outstanding voluntary blood donors nationwide in 2025". With 4 6 blood donations and a journey to spread the spirit of humanity, Mr. Hau is not only a shining example but also a "bridge" bringing hope to many patients. In the "Red Journey" 2025 program, Mr. Hau continues to donate his precious blood, spreading good human values.
Recognizing the noble act of blood donation, Mr. Vuong Van Hau has started donating blood since he was a student. From 2014 to now, he has regularly donated blood 2 to 4 times a year. Up to the Blood Donation Festival "Giot Hong Xu Lang" in the Red Journey 2025 program, he has donated blood 46 times.
For Mr. Vuong Van Hau, voluntary blood donation is not only a “calling of the heart” but also a mission of the whole community. He calls on everyone, especially young people, to actively participate in blood donation and become “propagandists” to spread humanistic values, so that “Red Drops of Lang Son” will spread more and more, bringing life and hope to those in need of blood.
Therefore, over the years, not only has he volunteered to donate blood, but in every position and role, he has also regularly and actively encouraged the community to participate in blood donation. Specifically, in his role as a member of the Lang Son City Live Blood Bank Club, he has actively promoted and encouraged friends and relatives to participate in blood donation activities.
As a teacher, he not only imparts knowledge but also cleverly integrates the message of blood donation into his lectures, helping students develop a sense of responsibility and love for the community. The “seeds” of kindness he has planted are gradually blossoming, inspiring colleagues, relatives and even the younger generations. Through this, many people have registered and participated in blood donation. Up to now, he has mobilized more than 500 people to participate in voluntary blood donation, of which his family alone has participated in 15 blood donations.
Mr. Hau shared: Donating blood not only saves lives but also sows the seeds of compassion, beautifying the tradition of "mutual love" of the Vietnamese people. I always want to share my red blood, my healthy blood to save the lives of many critically ill patients, bringing health to many people.
With his contributions, in early June 2025, Mr. Vuong Van Hau was honored to represent Lang Son province to participate in the ceremony to honor 100 outstanding blood donors nationwide and report to theVice President . At the event, he humbly compared himself to individuals who donated blood 80, 90, or even over 100 times, considering this as a motivation for him to continue to contribute and spread the meaning of voluntary blood donation. "This honor is not only a source of pride but also a responsibility for me to be more active in spreading the blood donation movement to save lives," Mr. Hau expressed.
Mr. Vuong Van Hau's journey of voluntary blood donation and spreading this noble gesture is a living proof of the power of compassion, a flame that lights up the spirit of solidarity and sharing, thereby increasingly contributing to beautifying the image of Lang Son people with affection and responsibility to the community.
