According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a tropical depression is currently appearing in the eastern part of the Philippines that is likely to enter the East Sea in the next 24-48 hours.
Although the storm has not yet officially formed, initial signs indicate that its formation is quite clear. However, Mr. Mai Van Khiem also noted that there are still many uncertain factors that need to be closely monitored in the coming days.
In the immediate future, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting recommends that functional forces, coastal localities and especially fishermen need to closely monitor weather reports in the next 1-2 days, and prepare response plans in case the tropical depression strengthens into a storm and has complicated developments.
Currently, the Center is also working closely with China's meteorological forecasting agencies to analyze and assess the possibility of this system increasing in intensity in the next 2-3 days. Information will be continuously updated to ensure timely disaster prevention and response for localities and people across the country.
