APEC 2027 amidst an exhibition celebrating 80 years of national achievements.

Within the framework of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the An Giang province booth attracted special attention by dedicating the most prominent central area to promoting APEC 2027.

Alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ho Van Mung, along with provincial leaders and heads of departments and agencies, visited the APEC 2027 exhibition space.

Upon entering the exhibition space, visitors are immediately drawn to the large, prominent "Vietnam - APEC 2027" lettering against a blue background, surrounded by a system of modern LED screens that continuously display vivid images with brilliant lighting.

On the exhibition, images of Phu Quoc are vividly portrayed – sometimes the blue sea and white sand, sometimes the bustling streets at night, interspersed with images of numerous new infrastructure projects being completed day by day. Alongside these are documents about the working trips and surveys conducted by Party and State leaders and An Giang province throughout the preparation for APEC 2027.

Images of government leaders inspecting Phu Quoc, groundbreaking ceremonies for key projects, and massive construction sites with hundreds of engineers and workers busily working... have been visually recreated to give viewers a clearer picture of the thorough preparation and high determination of the locality for this important international event.

According to Le Trung Ho, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, An Giang province in general and Phu Quoc in particular want to affirm the potential, conditions, and infrastructure of the locality, which are capable of hosting international conferences with the rest of the country. Through APEC 2027, Phu Quoc has the opportunity to strongly develop its infrastructure, serving socio -economic development. Simultaneously, APEC 2027 is also an opportunity to introduce the locality to international friends, opening up opportunities to make Phu Quoc a destination for tourists from all over the world. In particular, this event also contributes to affirming the increasingly high position and role of Vietnam on the international stage...

According to Quang Xuan Lua, Director of the An Giang Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion: “APEC 2027 is a great opportunity to promote the image of An Giang's land and people, as well as the typical tourist destinations of Phu Quoc. Service businesses, hotels, and restaurants have prepared to welcome domestic and international tourists.”

Promoting the stature of An Giang

In conjunction with the province's promotional activities, Sun PhuQuoc Airways' appearance at the exhibition also made a strong impression. The exhibition space was designed in a modern style, featuring a miniature aircraft model and a system of LED screens continuously displaying videos introducing the "hub-and-spoke" flight network centered around Phu Quoc, directly connecting to major cities domestically and internationally.

This is not only an opportunity for the locality to develop but also a source of pride for the people of the whole country as Vietnam increasingly asserts its position on the international stage.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa, a resident of Le Chan ward (Hai Phong city), was impressed by the images and screens showcasing Phu Quoc. “The modern, dazzling scenery makes me very eager to experience it. I believe that after APEC 2027, Phu Quoc will become a top destination, not only in Vietnam but also in the region,” Ms. Hoa said.

From the exhibition space to the shared messages, everything conveyed the same message: APEC 2027 is a great opportunity for An Giang, especially Phu Quoc, to make a strong breakthrough, affirm its international stature, and contribute to enhancing Vietnam's position on the global map.
