Apple launches iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max with titanium cases

Both the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max feature a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion and support for the always-on display and new StandBy mode in iOS 17.

The cameras on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max also get significant upgrades. First up is a 48-megapixel camera with better low-light performance, less glare, and Apple's AI system for HEIF photos.

Users can also change the default lens and shoot at multiple focal lengths, from 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm with the main camera. The device also supports up to 5x optical zoom, which is the highest optical zoom Apple has ever offered, with a focal length equivalent to 120mm.

The new iPhone duo also has the ability to record 4K60 ProRes 4K video, support recording and storage directly to an external drive via the USB-C port. The Pro series can also record space video.

The iPhone 15 Pro with 128GB of storage will cost $999, while the Pro Max with 256GB of storage will cost $1,199. Both will be available for pre-order this Friday and will be available for sale on September 22.
