Apple just launched a new series of iPhones on the night of September 10th (Vietnam time). Long rumored to be called the "iPhone 17 Air," the iPhone Air is certainly a highlight, boasting a new, ultra-thin design that forced Apple to make a series of design changes.

For the first time, the iPhone is thinner than 6 mm.

With the iPhone Air, Tim Cook emphasized that it boasts the "most durable design ever." He stated that Apple has utilized "every remaining small space" for the battery, promising impressive battery life. With its ultra-thin design without sacrificing durability, the iPhone Air is expected to strike a balance between aesthetics and the ability to meet all-day usage needs.

The iPhone Air is incredibly thin, thanks to its high-density battery. Apple doesn't specify the capacity or whether it uses silicon-carbon like some Chinese manufacturers. At 5.6 mm, it's 0.2 mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge. Apple claims it's an ultra-thin phone with "Pro" standards.

Compared to the regular version, the iPhone Air has fewer color choices. In return, the company has created more accessories for the device, including stylish straps.

The iPhone 17 has many worthwhile upgrades.

The device has a similar appearance to its predecessor, but the screen size has increased to 6.3 inches with thinner bezels.

The iPhone 17's rear camera system consists of two lenses: a 48 MP main camera (f/2.2 aperture, 13 mm focal length) and a 12 MP telephoto camera (f/2.2 aperture, 26 mm focal length).

With the front camera, Apple changed the sensor to a square shape, supporting Center Stage to automatically navigate towards the user during video calls or online meetings. Users can switch between portrait or wide-angle (horizontal) shooting modes without rotating the phone, and the maximum resolution that can be captured by the front camera is 18 MP.

The remaining features of the iPhone 17 are not significantly different from the iPhone 16, such as the Action button, Camera Control, Dynamic Island, and the vertical rear camera setup. Apple continues to mention the Apple Intelligence suite of features. The product has a minimum storage capacity of 256 GB, double that of its predecessor.

Apple announced that all iPhone 17 models will be available for pre-order from 7 PM on September 12th in Vietnam and will begin shipping on September 19th. The iPhone 17 starts at 25 million VND, while the iPhone Air is priced at 32 million VND.
