The iPhone Air 2 is expected to address the shortcomings of its predecessor. According to The Information , Apple is planning a redesign of the model, while also considering adding more cameras and lowering the price to attract users.

A report from SellCell indicates that the iPhone Air is Apple's fastest-depreciating product line in recent years. The average depreciation rate for this product line is as high as 44.3%, the highest since the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 13 Mini.

Since its launch in September, the iPhone Air has not received the expected level of interest from global users. Numerous reports suggest that Apple has had to cut production and scale back manufacturing of this model due to record low sales.

Foxconn's factory is reportedly halting all iPhone Air production lines. Meanwhile, supplier Luxshare also stopped producing the device at the end of October.

According to MacRumors , the disappointing sales of the iPhone Air have led a number of Chinese mobile phone manufacturers to cancel or freeze projects related to ultra-thin phones, demonstrating the negative impact of this failure on the entire industry.
