In Group A, the Hanoi Youth team continued their impressive form by defeating the Ha Tinh Sports Training and Competition Center 1-0 away from home.

This was the capital's youth team's sixth victory since the start of the season, bringing their total points to 24 after 12 matches, maintaining their leading position and continuing their unbeaten streak.

In the other match played at Thanh Tri Stadium, Hue won 3-1 against Hanoi Police Youth, bringing their total to 22 points after 11 matches. Meanwhile, PVF drew 1-1 withSHB Da Nang Youth and only have 14 points after 12 rounds.

These results helped to determine the two representatives from Group A who will participate in the Final Round: Hanoi Youth and Hue. The team currently in third place is the Ha Tinh Sports Training and Competition Center with only 16 points and one match remaining.

Even if they win in the final round, this team will only reach a maximum of 19 points, which is not enough to catch up with the two leading teams.

Meanwhile, in Group B, the competition remains fierce. Lam Dong secured a crucial 2-0 victory away against Tay Ninh to move to the top of the table with 22 points after 11 matches.

Quang Ngai also seized the opportunity by defeating Vinh Long 3-0 at home, raising their total points to 21, level with Truong Giang Gia Dinh but temporarily behind due to inferior goal difference. In the other match, Mekong Can Tho and Dak Lak shared the points after a 1-1 draw.

With this result, Lam Dong became the third team to officially qualify for the Final Round. The team from the Central Highlands now has 22 points and is guaranteed to be among the top two teams in Group B because in the final matchday, their two direct competitors, Quang Ngai and Truong Giang Gia Dinh, will face each other.

This means only one of the two teams can surpass Lam Dong's 22-point mark.

Thus, three teams have secured their place in the 2026 National Second Division Finals: Hanoi Youth, Hue, and Lam Dong.

The remaining spot will be decided in the final round of the qualifiers on June 7th. The highlight will be the match between Quang Ngai and Truong Giang Gia Dinh.

The winning team will secure the final spot in the Final Round. If the two teams draw, Truong Giang Gia Dinh will advance due to their superior head-to-head record, having won 3-0 in the first leg.

The race for a spot in the Finals therefore promises exciting developments until the very last minute.
