On the afternoon of November 22, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel matters.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Do Trong Hung announced the Politburo 's decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh – Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union – to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung extended congratulations to the new Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee. According to Mr. Hung, the Politburo assessed Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh as a capable and experienced cadre with a scientific , democratic, and decisive approach to work, closely connected to the grassroots.
In all her positions, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh has consistently performed her duties excellently, making significant contributions to the achievements of her agency and unit.
Mr. Le Minh Hung expressed his confidence and hope that the new Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee would utilize his youthful energy and experience gained from previous work at the provincial and central levels to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the Party Committee and leaders at all levels and sectors of Binh Phuoc province to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing, and support for Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh in her position as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, in order to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 11th Provincial Party Congress, and to further develop Binh Phuoc province in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ton Ngoc Hanh, expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organization Committee for their trust in entrusting him with this important responsibility.
Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh recognizes this as a great honor and also a very heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Binh Phuoc province.
Ms. Hanh pledged to always strive her best, be dedicated and committed, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, maintain the Party's principles, practice what she preaches, and play a key role in uniting the collective to successfully achieve the set goals and resolutions, contributing to the nation's successful implementation of the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress.
At the same time, we must make good preparations for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, realizing the new viewpoints and thinking that General Secretary To Lam has consistently directed and emphasized.
Earlier, on November 20, the Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Department held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel matters.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Nguyen Manh Cuong (51 years old, from Nghe An province), Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, as Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Department.
The youngest Provincial Party Secretary in the country.
Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was born in 1980 in Binh Duong province. Her professional qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science (specializing in Party building), a Bachelor's degree in Party building and state administration, and advanced political theory.
Prior to being appointed as the Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Hanh held the following positions: Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Secretary of the Dong Xoai City Party Committee.
On January 30, 2021, Ms. Hanh was elected as an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In March 2022, Ms. Hanh was elected as vice president of the Vietnam Women's Union.
