Bac Kan Provincial Tourism Week 2024 is a series of events taking place simultaneously in Bac Kan city and 3 districts of Cho Don, Ba Be and Na Ri. Tourists will visit and experience the place where Uncle Ho and the Central agencies lived, worked and led the revolution during the resistance war against French colonialism at the Cho Don National Security Site; Tourists can also immerse themselves in nature, row dugout canoes and kayaks at the scenic Ba Be Lake; along with the traditional festival atmosphere of "Xuan Duong Love Market" in Na Ri district.

Also on this occasion, Bac Kan province has some notable activities, such as the art exhibition “Indigo at the source of Cau River”. In Bac Kan city, there are also displays of specialty agricultural products and OCOP products of Bac Kan province.

Bac Kan province is blessed with natural landscapes of mountains, rivers, lakes, caves, waterfalls, and a primeval forest ecosystem that is considered a beautiful place. Notably, Ba Be Lake, one of the 20 natural freshwater lakes in need of protection in the world , Ba Be National Park is recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park, a RAMSA site...

Along with many historical revolutionary relics, tangible and intangible relics, Bac Kan province has the potential to develop eco-tourism, source tourism, resort tourism, community tourism and adventure sports tourism.

Being the home of Tay (more than 70%), Nung, Kinh, Mong, Dao, San Chay, Bac Kan province has created cultural diversity, with many traditional customs creating traditional festivals, distinct languages and scripts, dishes, folk knowledge, intangible cultural heritage bearing the identity of the ethnic groups. Among them, the Then Practice Heritage of Tay, Nung, Thai people has been honored by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, along with 20 national intangible cultural heritages.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Binh, Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The province sets a goal of welcoming 1 million tourists in 2024, Bac Kan organizes cultural, sports, tourism and festival events associated with developing diverse tourism products. Those efforts will gradually bring the tourism brand of Bac Kan province to a large number of domestic and international tourists.
