Photographer Nguyen Quynh Anh – Roi shared her experience: “I have traveled to many places and photographed many beautiful scenes, but the trip to Ba Be Lake in early winter brought a very different feeling. Amidst the changing colors of the leaves and the mist-covered lake, I felt an indescribable sense of peace.”

He added that what moved him most was the journey on the dugout canoe, paddled by Tay women. They knew every rhythm of the water, every mountain gorge, and took tourists to spots known only to the locals, where the sunlight and mountain reflections on the lake created rare and beautiful scenes.
