Bac Ninh welcomes a flood of visitors after the "Bac Bling" fever

(Dan Tri) - Speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Huu Mao, Director of Bac Ninh Museum and Tourism Promotion, said that last week the number of tourists participating in Bac Ninh tours increased dramatically.

Free tours of Bac Ninh are packed with visitors on weekends thanks to the effects of the music video Bac Bling by female singer Hoa Minzy.

On weekends, hundreds of people lined up at Bac Ninh Museum to register for free tours to visit the province's tourist attractions.

It is known that this is the registration point for 2 free tours (starting from March 8 to June 30) on the 2 weekends of Saturday and Sunday. Through that, tourists and locals can experience 14 destinations and relics in the area for free.

According to records, not only attracting local people, the province's free tour also received enthusiastic response from tourists from many neighboring provinces such as Hanoi , Hai Phong...

Ms. Nguyen Thoa from Hanoi said she wanted to experience the land of Quan Ho because she loved the scenes and cultural beauty that appeared in the MV Bac Bling. However, when she arrived, all the buses were full, so she had to accept the experience at another time.

"I didn't think so many people would come to Bac Ninh this time. The parking lots are also full of private cars. Since I'm not going on a free tour, I'll explore and experience it myself," said Ms. Thoa.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Con, Head of the Tourism Department of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, in the past 2 weeks, the number of visitors to Bac Ninh has increased. However, this unit does not have official statistics yet.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Huu Mao, Director of Bac Ninh Museum and Tourism Promotion, said that last weekend the number of visitors participating in Bac Ninh tours increased dramatically. This was also predicted in advance. However, last weekend, the units coordinated to rent more cars, mobilized to borrow cars from outside, but still could not meet the increased demand of visitors.

"We mobilized 10 45-seat vehicles, 4 29-seat vehicles and one 16-seat vehicle, a total of 15 vehicles, but there were still about 100 passengers who could not get on the vehicle. It can be seen that the demand of people and tourists who want to learn about and experience Bac Ninh tours is very high. Although the number of passengers is expected to increase, because the vehicles are limited, we cannot proactively serve all of them," Mr. Mao informed.

In order to best serve the needs of the people, on the morning of March 17, the software department of the Department of Science and Technology came to support the construction of the App (application on mobile devices). According to Mr. Mao, people will proactively register via the App so that relevant units can grasp the number, ensuring that there is no overload.

"We will cooperate to serve you best," Mr. Mao affirmed.

From March 8, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh has launched a free tour for tourists. The tour takes place during the day, with a tour guide, departing at 8am and ending around 5pm.

The first tour includes Bac Ninh museum - But Thap pagoda - Dau pagoda - Dong Ho painting village - Do temple - Bac Ninh museum.

The second tour includes Bac Ninh museum - Phat Tich pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong mausoleum - Phu Lang pottery village - Nguyen Cao temple - Dien Quang pagoda - Bac Ninh museum.

Tourists travel on 45-seat buses, each tour has 2-3 trips a day. On Sunday, the number of tourists is twice as high as on Saturday.

Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh is reviewing the registration method to better implement free tours, avoiding the phenomenon of visitors arriving but unable to go.

In 2024, the province will welcome more than 2.3 million tourists, an increase of 40% over the same period in 2023, with revenue reaching VND 1,900 billion.
