Bai Mon is located between two mountains, when viewed from afar, it looks like a giant bow. When the waves hit the shore, they create extremely unique whirlpools.

Bai Mon is one of the tourist destinations in Phu Yen that attracts visitors with its beautiful natural scenery. The long, white sand beach curves along the coast, the clear water creates a sparkling reflection of the sky... all creating a captivating beauty. In particular, there are very few people living here, only anchored ships, allowing visitors to freely explore and experience.

Location and directions to Bai Mon

Bai Mon is located at the foot of Mui Dien lighthouse, in Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen province. Although the area is not too large, only about 400-500m2, this place has a very unique shape, attracting tourists.

There are two ways to get to Bai Mon:

From Tuy Hoa city, you just need to go along National Highway 1A to the Southeast for about 30km to reach Bai Mon.

If you travel from Nha Trang, you will go to the Northeast. When you reach the middle of Deo Ca, you turn onto Phuoc Tan – Bai Nga road and continue for about 12 km to reach Bai Mon.

If you choose to travel along the route to Bai Mon, you can visit Vung Ro Bay, another attractive tourist destination of Phu Yen. Next, don't forget to visit Deo Ca to experience the beautiful scenery. Then, you can visit Mui Dien to enjoy the wonderful scenery from the top of the mountain.

The best time to travel to Bai Mon

Bai Mon belongs to the tropical monsoon climate zone, with two typical dry and rainy seasons. One advantage of this coastal area is that the rainy season does not last long, usually occurring at the end of the year, from September to December. This has created favorable conditions for Bai Mon beach to become a tourist destination in the summer, helping visitors relax and cool off.

Therefore, the most ideal time for tourists to travel to Bai Mon beach is from January to August. The beach with golden sunshine, gentle winds blowing waves to the shore combined with the pristine white sand, all create an interesting tourist destination that you definitely cannot miss.

What is interesting at Bai Mon beach ?

Admire the wild beauty, touching people's hearts

Bai Mon is a “small but mighty” beach located at the foot of Mui Dien of the city of yellow flowers on green grass Phu Yen. Although it is only less than half a kilometer long, Bai Mon attracts countless tourists, especially young people, to experience and explore the wild but dreamy and extremely charming beauty.

Because it has not been exploited for tourism, this place is quite wild and deserted, creating great conditions for you to enjoy a peaceful and private space.

Visit Mui Dien lighthouse - the easternmost point of the country

Right next to Bai Mon is Mui Dien and Dai Lanh lighthouses, so there is no reason why you should not combine visiting these places for more experiences. Here, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but also watch the sunrise earlier than other beaches in the S-shaped territory.

Bai Mon Beach has the advantage of being able to welcome the sunrise earlier than other beaches, which has attracted many tourists to choose to camp overnight here. To get here, you can rent a self-drive car in Phu Yen and go to the parking spot. Then, you can rent a tent or camp and ask the Management Board for permission to camp overnight.

Camping overnight on the beach, enjoying a prepared meal together, sharing interesting stories, it will definitely be an unforgettable experience for both you and the participants.

Not only possessing beautiful natural scenery, Bai Mon beach is also famous for many specialties such as: chives noodle soup, pancakes, Phu Yen tuna eyes, monitor lizard sausage... for you to enjoy. To conquer Bai Mon beach, don’t forget to bring water, towels, hats, sunglasses and other necessary items. You should wear light, comfortable clothes that will help you feel confident and move easily.

If you go up to the lighthouse, be careful of the dogs there.
