Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Duoc attended and chaired the conference at the Provincial Party Committee; reporter Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Director of the Academy of Politics Region II.
The conference had 14,350 delegates who were cadres, party members, civil servants... in Long An province participating in the study through direct learning and 227 online connection points.
At the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung reported: On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong wrote an important article titled: "Proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam".
In addition to the introduction, the article is divided into 3 parts. Part 1: Our Party was born, leading the fight for national independence, liberating the South, and unifying the country.
Part two: The Party leads the way in overcoming the consequences of war, carrying out the renovation and international integration process, and building our country to become more and more dignified and beautiful.
Part three: Further promote the glorious tradition of patriotism and revolution, determined to successfully achieve the country's development goals by 2025 and 2030, building an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam.

The General Secretary's article aroused pride in the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, and heroic Vietnamese people. At the same time, it encouraged, cheered, and motivated the entire Party, people, and army to continue successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The General Secretary's article summarized the glorious achievements of our Party over the past 94 years, especially over 38 years of renovation.
At the conference, Long An Provincial Party Committee also thoroughly grasped and implemented the Provincial Party Committee's programs to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference with important contents such as: "Continue to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period"; "Continue to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period"; "Continue to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy".
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai emphasized that the core contents of the General Secretary's article and the Provincial Party Committee's Programs to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference (term XIII) are fundamental and important issues, having a great influence on the tasks of Party building, building the intellectual team, promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity, promoting the socio-economic development of the country and Long An in the coming time.
Therefore, after this conference, districts, towns, City Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front of Long An province and socio-political organizations urgently deployed ideological and political activities on the content of the article by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, closely following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
