On the morning of August 28, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the provincial delegation had a working session with the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to prepare construction materials to implement the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway Project (CT.08), the section through Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces. Receiving and working with the delegation was Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee.

Overview of the working session.

The Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway construction investment project through Nam Dinh - Thai Binh province has a length of 60.9 km. Based on the basic design, the project's construction material demand requires more than 21 million m3 of various materials; however, with the characteristics of Thai Binh province, the source of materials is not enough and needs to be exploited from other provinces. Therefore, Thai Binh province requests Ninh Binh province to pay attention and direct relevant departments, branches and units to coordinate with departments, branches of Thai Binh province, investors and consulting units to introduce soil and rock mines for survey and reserve assessment for the project.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, said that with the significance and importance of the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway construction investment project, the province will actively coordinate with localities where the project passes through, including Thai Binh, to solve difficulties in the supply of construction materials, ensuring the progress of the project. He also discussed some specific contents related to material mines to create a supply source for works and projects.

On behalf of the working delegation, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee thanked the leaders of Ninh Binh province, departments and branches for taking the time to meet and work with the delegation, introducing the supply of construction materials to serve the project. Based on the information provided at the working session, he requested the consulting unit, the investor, departments and branches of Thai Binh province to continue to coordinate with units of Ninh Binh province to survey, evaluate, exploit, and ensure the supply of construction materials for the project.
