Handing over 5 charity houses to people facing housing difficulties

DTO - On July 15, Mr. Huynh Phu Quan - Deputy Head of Charity House Building Team No. 2, Lai Vung Commune, Dong Thap Province, said that Charity House Building Team No. 2 completed and handed over 5 charity houses to poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties in 3 communes of the province.

Charity House Building Team No. 2 built and handed over a charity house to Mr. Huynh Van Dong's family, residing in Doc Binh Kieu commune, Dong Thap province.

Accordingly, the households receiving charity houses include: Tran Thi Kim Sang (born in 1979, residing in Lap Vo commune), Tran Van Men (born in 1943, residing in Hoa Long commune), Pham Van Can (born in 1993, residing in Doc Binh Kieu commune), Huynh Van Dong (born in 1960, residing in Doc Binh Kieu commune), Nguyen Tan Loc (born in 1986, residing in Doc Binh Kieu commune).

Each house has an area of 32m2 or more, with an iron frame, corrugated iron roof, and iron walls (ensuring 3 hard parts) with a total cost of 60 - 80 million VND. Of which, the Charity House Building Group No. 2 supports an average of 25 million VND/house (excluding the cost of building the house), the rest is contributed by the family to build a more solid house. The donation of charity houses aims to create more conditions for the poor and disadvantaged to soon rise up and stabilize their lives.
