Handing over the project to locally adjust the detailed planning of the smart city in Dong Anh

On the afternoon of August 7, Hanoi City held a conference to publicly announce and hand over the project documents for Local Adjustment of the 1/500 detailed planning on both sides of Nhat Tan - Noi Bai route (section 3) of the Smart City construction investment project area, phase 1 and phase 2. The program was organized by the People's Committee of Dong Anh district in coordination with the Department of Planning and Architecture, the North Hanoi Smart City Development Investment Joint Stock Company and related units. Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said that the Smart City Urban Area is one of the key investment projects in the area that the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee are very interested in creating favorable conditions for. In 2018, based on the planning and especially the Zoning Plan in the area and the detailed planning on both sides of Nhat Tan - Noi Bai route at a scale of 1/500, the City People's Committee decided to invest in the Project with a total area of ​​about 271.44 hectares divided into 5 implementation phases. During the project implementation process, with the agreement of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee reported to the Prime Minister to locally adjust the Master Plan for the Capital Construction and locally adjust the Urban Zoning Plan GN, N8 in the project area. Recently, in 2022, the Prime Minister of Japan paid an official visit to Vietnam. Based on the results of this visit, in Official Dispatch No. 1645/VPCP-QHQT dated May 24, 2022, the Prime Minister assigned the Hanoi People's Committee to: " Promote the development of smart urban development projects associated with digital transformation, green development, ensuring production, services, culture, education and social security, including the North Hanoi Smart City Project".

Detailed planning of smart city in Dong Anh

On that basis, the Hanoi People's Committee has implemented the Local Adjustment of the Detailed Planning at a scale of 1/500 on both sides of Nhat Tan - Noi Bai route (section 3) of the Smart City project area, phase 1 and phase 2 in Dong Anh district to concretize the Local Adjustment of the Capital's Master Plan and the Urban Zoning Plan in the approved area, in accordance with Construction Standards; as a basis for implementing the next steps on construction investment projects according to regulations, forming a smart, modern urban area is in line with the diplomatic policy of the Prime Minister , the City Party Committee, and the Hanoi People's Committee, meeting the regulations on planning adjustment in Article 47 of the Law on Urban Planning is necessary.
