Handing over houses to poor households in Cam Le ward

DNO - On July 30, the City's Charity and Children's Rights Protection Association announced that it had just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Le Ward and Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Joint Stock Company to hand over a house to poor household Ngo Van Ke (Group 7, Cam Le Ward).

Mr. Ke is a single father, raising two sick children, and is in extremely difficult circumstances. The whole family lives in a seriously dilapidated level 4 house but cannot afford to repair it.

Implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Le Ward supported 80 million VND from the fund for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, it mobilized the City's Charity and Children's Rights Protection Association and Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Joint Stock Company to support an additional 80 million VND to build new houses.

After nearly 2 months of construction, the house was completed and handed over to Mr. Ke's family for use.

At the handover ceremony of the new house, the sponsors and the residential area committee gave Mr. Ke's family some essential household items to help the family soon stabilize their lives, feel secure in doing business to take care of their children and escape poverty.
