This is a journey connecting the present and the past, the living and those who have fallen, through memories, images, sounds, and sacred emotions.
From the trenches, the echoes linger – where history speaks.
The space of "From the Trenches, Echoes Resound" opens with documentary footage in "Untold Stories ," transporting viewers back to the time of war and conflict.
Images of soldiers of Uncle Ho's army charging through the battlefield, wounded soldiers struggling to get up from their unhealed wounds, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers with eyes filled with suppressed pain as they bid farewell to their sons going to war—all these are vividly portrayed through the accounts of eyewitnesses.
Memories are recreated not through numbers, but through the breath of the times, through the pain deep within the heart, and through the ingrained conviction that independence must be achieved through sacrifice.
Those memories come alive through authentic, moving footage and emotionally charged accounts from the historical witnesses themselves.

Footprints of a Soldier - An Epic from the Battlefield to Peacetime
Next is the "Footprints of Soldiers" space, where artifacts steeped in sweat, blood, and tears are gathered. From worn backpacks and faded medals to diary entries on time-worn paper, each memento records a tragic era.
This is the story of young soldier Nguyen Van Thieng (alias Tran Thanh) embracing a three-pronged bomb, a symbol of the spirit of "Fighting to the death for the Fatherland."
Captain Tran Cu's flame of Dong Khe burns brightly; Vo Thi Sau, the daughter of Dat Do, stands defiantly in the execution ground; soldier Be Van Dan uses his body as a gun mount.
It is the spirit of the young man Nguyen Van Troi, with his indomitable cry that still resonates; it is the slogan etched into history by Nguyen Viet Xuan: "Aim straight at the enemy - shoot!".
It was the silent sacrifice of engineer Hoang Kim Giao, a courageous bomb disposal soldier of the Vietnam People's Army; it was the final air battle of pilot Vu Xuan Thieu, the "third missile" that went down in legend…
This space not only preserves war relics but also reflects the spirit of the post-war era, where wounded and sick soldiers live with extraordinary resilience, where programs of gratitude and remembrance are spread, and where the home front remains silently steadfast.
These stories don't have the appearance of distant myths, but rather exist in everyday life, like a warm fire in the deep night.

Continuing the epic saga - from gratitude to action.
The program concluded with the "Continuing the Epic" space, where emotions were expressed in words. Here, visitors were invited to write words of gratitude on the "tree of gratitude," a vibrant symbol of tradition and continuity.
Handwritten notes, small letters filled with immense gratitude, create a "forest of emotions." Revolutionary music plays, blending with the solemn atmosphere, reminding us that today's peace is a privilege that previous generations paid for with their lives.
The museum encourages the public to share their feelings, images, and stories about the program on social media through hashtags such as: #Kyuc27thang7, #Bietonanhhunglietsi, #BaotangLichsuQuansuVietNam. This is how traditional values continue to spread through the language of the times.

History is to be remembered, to be lived with, and to be written.
The history of Vietnam is a history of patriotism, of the yearning for independence, of dedication to justice. The soldiers who lie buried in their motherland, the wounded who are overcoming their pain day by day, the mothers who sent their sons off to war and could never see them return – they did not ask for honor, nor did they expect gratitude.
But they deserve to be remembered with genuine gratitude, with acts of kindness every day, and with a spirit of responsibility towards the future.
We, the present generation, are the ones to continue writing that epic. Not with guns and bullets, but with knowledge, kindness, compassion, and dedication. Let us live in a way that is worthy of the sacrifices of those who came before us, so that the dream of independence of those who fell will not only be fulfilled, but will also be brilliantly continued through each generation.
