People's Representative Newspaper summarizes work in 2025

Clearly demonstrating the mettle of the National Assembly's main press agency

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen stated that in 2025, the People's Representative Newspaper collective clearly demonstrated the mettle of the National Assembly's key press agency, promoting responsibility, professionalism, and the spirit of innovation and creativity.

Following the direction of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , the leaders of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, the information content of the Newspaper is increasingly specialized, standardized, with clear analysis and orientation. Many articles on law-making, supreme supervision, questioning and answering questions, socio-economic development, judicial reform, digital transformation, etc. are highly appreciated by public opinion and are regularly selected by VTV1 for daily morning news.

Propaganda topics aimed at commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1945 - January 6, 2025); information about the National Assembly Session, meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee, information about the Central Conference and other important political events were deployed methodically by the Newspaper and had widespread influence.

Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen emphasized that the newspaper's press products have been strongly innovated, rich in analysis; digital transformation has made substantial progress; Party work has maintained discipline and order; coordination with agencies of the National Assembly, ministries, branches and localities has been strengthened. The newspaper has also developed electronic newspapers and multi-platform communications, digital platforms have become fast and accurate information channels, imbued with the identity of parliamentary journalism.

In 2026, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen said that the Newspaper will focus on promoting major political events of the country, increasing commentary articles, policy analysis, in-depth articles, articles defending the Party's ideological foundation; promoting the Rally to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly; promoting the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; promoting digital transformation on platforms, perfecting the converged newsroom model; synchronously developing print, electronic and television newspapers.

People's Representative Newspaper is always standard, accurate, reputable and timely.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien stated that in 2025, in the context of the country streamlining the apparatus and implementing two-level local government, with a huge amount of legislative work, this is also the year to summarize the term of the 15th National Assembly, towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1945 - January 6, 2025), the People's Representative Newspaper has done a very good job of informing and propagating the activities of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly agencies, the National Assembly delegations, the activities of People's Councils at all levels, and at the same time conveying the opinions of voters and people to the National Assembly forum, worthy of being a bridge between the National Assembly, People's Councils and voters.

“The People's Representative Newspaper has truly become a specialized press channel about the National Assembly, the main media agency of the National Assembly, with information transmitted very quickly, accurately, standardly and promptly,” the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office emphasized.

The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office also acknowledged that in 2025, the People's Representative Newspaper had done a very good job of the National Assembly Television when this channel ended its operations, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted work.
