Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested that units continue to play a core role in ensuring national defense and security; strengthen coordination between the military and police in monitoring the situation and promptly handling issues arising from the grassroots level, avoiding passivity and surprises. At the same time, focus on building a regular, elite, and progressively modern force; proactively propose solutions to overcome difficulties in infrastructure and equipment to successfully complete tasks.
*At the same time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi and the working group visited and inspected the actual working premises, facilities, and operational situation of the armed forces, including: the Military Command and Police of Hiep Thanh Ward; the Military Command and Police of Vinh Hau Commune, Dong Hai Commune, and Cai Cung Border Guard Post.
The delegation included leaders from the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police Department, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.
At each location, the inspection team conducted on-site checks of the working headquarters, facilities, and operational status of the local armed forces. According to reports from the units, in recent times, especially since the province's merger, the forces have consistently received attention from the Party committee, government, and relevant agencies in providing headquarters, equipment, and accommodation for officers and soldiers. Thanks to this, the units have strived to overcome difficulties, successfully completing their tasks and contributing to maintaining political security, national defense, and social order in the area.
Comrade Lu Quang Ngoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, conducted an on-site inspection at the Cai Cung Border Guard Station headquarters, listening to a report on the unit's activities in the past period and its future direction and tasks.
Local leaders also reported to the delegation on the current state of use of police and military unit headquarters; and stated that there are plans for new construction for those headquarters that are dilapidated and do not meet operational requirements.

Comrade Lu Quang Ngoi inspected the working headquarters of the Vinh Hau Commune Police and the Commune Military Command; at the same time, he listened to the leaders of the Commune Party Committee and People's Committee report on planning work and propose a location for the construction of a new headquarters.
Speaking at the survey, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi directed local Party committees, authorities, and armed forces units to continue reviewing and reassessing the current state of their office buildings. Based on this, they should proactively review planning and propose new investment plans for buildings that no longer meet the requirements of their respective sectors, in order to ensure operational conditions in the current situation.
In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that during the process of putting the new headquarters into use, localities need to develop plans for the efficient utilization of the old headquarters, avoiding waste of land and public assets.
*Also on the afternoon of April 9th, Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, led a working group to survey and work with the Military Command and Police of Tri Phai and Khanh An communes.

In Tri Phai commune, after the merger, the main police and military headquarters are located in the center of the commune, with cramped and dilapidated facilities. This is also the general situation currently occurring in Khanh An commune.

Following a field survey and information gathering at the grassroots level, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, Ho Thanh Thuy, requested that local military and police forces improve their management of land and office buildings under their control, avoiding waste. In the short term, they need to overcome difficulties, stabilize the situation, especially in ideological matters, and effectively carry out assigned tasks. In the long term, they need to develop land use plans and invest in infrastructure to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, especially ensuring that office buildings are centralized, spacious, modern, and equipped with professional equipment.
Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, and head of the working group, delivered a directive speech at the meeting with the Military Command, Police, and local authorities of Khanh An commune.
Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy expressed his wish that the armed forces in the localities would continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity and the glorious traditions of their units, serving the people wholeheartedly. The forces need to enhance their proactive approach in all situations, ensuring absolute national defense and people's security in their areas of responsibility.
