The People's Committee assigned the Departments of Industry and Trade, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction; Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks; People's Committees of districts, wards, communes and related agencies according to their functions and tasks to continue to carry out the tasks assigned in Official Dispatch No. 987/UBND-SCT dated February 22, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on implementing Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2025 of the Prime Minister on proactive solutions to ensure adequate electricity supply for production, business and people's lives during peak periods in 2025 and the period 2026-2030;
Updating the list of power sources and power grids identified in Decision No. 768/QD-TTg dated April 15, 2025 of the Prime Minister on approving the adjustment of the National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 (adjusted Power Plan VIII) into the Da Nang City Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 and technical and specialized plans such as construction planning, urban planning, rural planning, power supply planning, planning, land use plans at the provincial and district levels according to the provisions of law on planning and electricity to organize space as a basis for investment in the construction of power source and power grid projects;
Advise the City People's Committee to organize the selection of investors/investors of power source and grid projects according to authority, arrange land funds for the development of power source and grid projects according to the provisions of law;
Closely coordinate with Vietnam Electricity Group, units under Vietnam Electricity Group, investors of hydropower plants, wind power plants, solar power plants, etc. to plan reasonable and specific water use for agricultural production and daily life needs, giving maximum priority to reserve water sources; make the most of wind and solar resources to serve power generation during peak hours; enhance solutions for economical and efficient use of water, wind, and solar power;
Implement effective energy saving in the area and management field, especially in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration. Apply optimal management solutions, replace lighting with energy-saving lamps, apply automatic control technology, promote the implementation of solar energy solutions in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration;
Maximize, effectively exploit, and encourage the development of on-site wind and solar power sources according to Decree No. 57/2025/ND-CP and Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government;
Provide maximum support for people and businesses to install and use self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power according to Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CT dated March 3, 2025 of the Government and related documents stipulating mechanisms and policies to encourage the installation of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power.
The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Department of Finance and relevant agencies to advise and propose to the City People's Committee on organizing the selection of investors to implement power source and grid projects according to the adjusted Power Plan VIII and the approved plan for developing the power infrastructure of Da Nang city in the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050;
Advise the City People's Committee to deploy the Plan to implement the adjusted Power Plan VIII issued by the Prime Minister;
Preside over and coordinate with electricity sector units, investors in power source and grid projects and related units to review the progress of investment and construction of power source and grid projects in the planning and power development plan in the city, propose to the City People's Committee solutions to direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles to promote the progress of implementation of power source and grid projects;
Strengthen inspection and supervision of operations, urge the implementation of power source and grid projects, ensure safe, stable and continuous power supply, especially during peak months, serving production, business and people's lives;
Coordinate with relevant agencies and units to strengthen propaganda, guidance, support, and create maximum convenience for people and businesses to install and use self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power according to Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government and related documents stipulating mechanisms and policies to encourage the installation of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power, contributing to reducing pressure on the national power system.
Continue to advise the City People's Committee to effectively implement electricity saving solutions in the city according to Plan No. 154/KH-UBND dated July 31, 2023 of the Da Nang City People's Committee on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years in Da Nang city.
People's Committees of districts, wards and communes focus on solving site clearance work and doing a good job of propaganda and mobilizing people to promptly hand over the site to create conditions for early investment in construction of power source and grid projects in the management area.
Da Nang Power Company Limited continues to carry out the tasks assigned in Official Dispatch No. 987/UBND-SCT dated February 22, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on the implementation of Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2025 of the Prime Minister on proactive solutions to ensure adequate electricity supply for production, business and people's lives during peak periods in 2025 and the period 2026-2030.
Focus on propaganda, guidance, encouragement, and prioritizing support for people and businesses in effectively implementing the real electricity trading mechanism following the provisions of Decree No. 57/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government and developing self-produced and self-consumed solar sources according to Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government.
Continue to implement electricity saving solutions in the city according to Plan No. 154/KH-UBND dated July 31, 2023 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years in Da Nang City.
