Attending the ceremony were leaders from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs , the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Central Propaganda Department, leaders from many media agencies in Hanoi, and staff, reporters, and editors of Dan Tri newspaper.
Mr. Ha Xuan Tung, Director of the Personnel and Organization Department (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs), announced the decisions on the reorganization of two media outlets into Dan Tri newspaper effective November 1, 2023; the regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Dan Tri newspaper, as well as decisions on personnel matters.
Dan Tri Newspaper has three Deputy Editors-in-Chief: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang.

"A very important event"
Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, affirmed that this is a very important event for the Ministry, the press, and the sector.
"This can also be considered a milestone, marking the arrangement, organization, and foundation for the development of journalism; for the industry to operate more efficiently and with higher quality," Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
To arrive at today's decision, the head of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs stated that the Ministry's leaders had listened to, discussed, and addressed concerns at numerous meetings over the past two years.

"This demonstrates the strong determination of the leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs for the benefit of the sector, aiming for the higher goal of making Dan Tri newspaper a modern and professional media complex," the Minister said.
Emphasizing that the newspaper will enter a new era with higher demands, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stated: " Dan Tri Newspaper must aim for three goals: people's livelihood, people's knowledge, and people's sentiment; contributing to fulfilling the noble mission of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs as the embodiment of compassion and humanity, caring for social issues."
To achieve this, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung hopes that the newspaper will first focus on fulfilling its functions and duties well, adhering to the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. In particular, he emphasizes the function of propaganda, education, and encouragement; inspiring a desire to contribute, and working towards the goal of ensuring that every citizen has a better life, "leaving no one behind."
Besides requesting a reorganization of the structure and apparatus to ensure suitability, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung also requested that Dan Tri newspaper take good care of its staff and employees; cultivate sharp and dedicated writers; build a clean, strong, and closely-knit Party organization and other mass organizations that are closely connected with functional units of the Ministry, the industry, and society.
The Minister also requested that Dan Tri newspaper reflect more on the good and positive aspects of society. "I hope the newspaper will always convey strong and positive messages to society," Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam assessed this as an important event for the press.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam hopes that, in addition to reflecting and resolving people's social issues, newspapers will also provide knowledge to the people so that those who benefit can have a better life.
Representing the leadership of the press agencies attending the ceremony, Mr. Que Dinh Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, extended his congratulations to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on launching Dan Tri newspaper " at a new level" and to the colleagues at Dan Tri newspaper "on a journey with greater stature and strength".
Unity will enable Dan Tri to continue achieving new successes.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper, expressed his deepest gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and other relevant agencies for their continuous attention, guidance, direction, and support in helping the newspaper complete its planning as it has today.
"Today's announcement ceremony is a historic event in our development journey, bringing us a lot of emotions from excitement and pride to hope for a new path ahead that will be full of challenges and difficulties," Mr. Pham Tuan Anh expressed.

"The entire preparation and implementation process was a long journey, requiring a great deal of intelligence and effort, with the Minister Dao Ngoc Dung as the chief leader and the person bearing the highest responsibility, along with the efforts and high sense of responsibility of the Deputy Ministers and functional agencies of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, with the companionship, attention and sharing of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the direct contributions of the leadership and employees of the two newspapers," Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh recalled.
Responding to the directives of Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh affirmed that the newspaper's staff will continue to strive tirelessly to live up to the expectations and trust placed in them by the Party and State leaders, the leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Central Propaganda Department, and the Ministry of Information and Communications; and will continue to promote the spirit of unity, proactiveness, boldness in thinking and acting, creativity, and professionalism to steer the Dan Tri newspaper towards new successes.

After reorganization, Dan Tri newspaper has a Editor-in-Chief and no more than 3 Deputy Editors-in-Chief. The organizational structure of Dan Tri newspaper includes 13 subordinate units, including a representative office.
