The Vietnam Journalists Association said that the 17th National Press Awards ceremony - 2022 will be held on the evening of June 21, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Palace - Hanoi, on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023).
According to the results announced by the 17th National Press Awards Council, from 1,894 entries, the preliminary judging council selected 157 entries for the final round. As a result, 115 outstanding entries were selected for awards, including 9 A prizes, 24 B prizes, 46 C prizes and 45 consolation prizes.
The Lao Dong Newspaper has 2 award-winning works, including: The work "Breakthrough for economic recovery" by authors: Thai Phuong, Phuong Nhung, Thanh Nhan, Minh Chien, Phan Anh won the C prize; the work "The world of private taxis" at Tan Son Nhat airport" by the group of authors Y Linh, Thu Hong, Thai Phuong, Sy Hung, Le Vinh, Minh Anh, Truong Hoang won the consolation prize.

The 41st Ho Chi Minh City Press Awards Ceremony - 2023 will also take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Theater on the morning of June 21.
The 41st Ho Chi Minh City Press Awards has the theme "Improving the efficiency of public service activities, promoting administrative reform and improving the investment environment; promoting economic development, ensuring social security".
This year's award has 279 works from 18 press units in Ho Chi Minh City participating in the preliminary round, of which 184 works were selected for the final round.
As a result, 65 best works were awarded, including 5 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 21 third prizes and 25 consolation prizes in 5 groups of categories: Group 1 (news, press photos); Group 2 (political commentary); Group 3 (documentary, reportage, investigation, journalistic memoir); Group 4 (interview, reportage, quick notes); Group 5 (collective works).

Of the 65 award-winning works this year, 7 belong to the Lao Dong Newspaper.
Accordingly, in group 1, the work "Special boarding house of cancer patients" (author Hoang Trieu) won second prize, the work "Memorable moments of Vietnamese athletics at SEA Games 31" (author Hoang Trieu) won consolation prize.
In group 2, the work "Social networks are not courts" (authors: To Tram, Pham Dung, Xuan Huy, Anh Vu) won second prize.
In group 3, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper had 2 award-winning works: "The Golden Hands of the Medical Industry" (authors: Ngoc Dung, Nguyen Thuan, Nguyen Thanh, Hai Yen, Pham Dung) won second prize and "Outdoor Advertising: Where Does the Money "Flow"?" (authors: To Tram, Sy Hung, Nguyen Nguyen, Quoc Anh, Thu Hong) won third prize.
In group 4, the work "Resolution 31 - "Golden Key" by the group of authors Phuong Nhung, Phan Anh, Quoc Anh, Hong Dao, Minh Chien, Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Tuan, Cong Tuan, Quang Truong was honored to be selected to receive first prize.
For group 5 - collective works, for the second consecutive time, the work "National Flag Road", a component of the program "Proud of the National Flag" won 3rd prize.

Previously, the Da Nang Journalists Association also held the 2022 Da Nang Journalism Awards ceremony. The work "Following the Waste Night Food Convoy" by reporter Cao Hai Dinh was honored with first prize.
