According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Tel Aviv, information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel indicates that, following instructions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant domestic agencies, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has closely coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to safely facilitate the entry of approximately 50 Vietnamese citizens into Egypt, and some have already returned to Vietnam. The remaining citizens are completing the necessary procedures to return to Vietnam as soon as possible.
Previously, immediately after receiving information about Vietnamese citizens trapped in the conflict zone, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel actively coordinated closely with domestic authorities, local authorities, and the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to implement necessary protective measures to ensure the security and safety of Vietnamese citizens in the area, and assisted with the necessary procedures to evacuate them from dangerous areas.
Given the current complex situation, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel continues to advise Vietnamese citizens still residing in the conflict zone to remain calm, maintain regular contact with the Embassy, and strictly comply with the instructions of local authorities, as well as warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy. In case of emergency, citizens can contact the Embassy's 24/7 citizen protection hotlines at +972 555 025 616 and +972 527 274 248 for timely assistance.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel will continue to implement the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, closely coordinating with domestic authorities, local authorities, and Vietnamese representative offices in neighboring areas to closely monitor the situation, prepare measures to ensure the security and safety of citizens as well as the headquarters of Vietnamese representative offices, and develop plans to evacuate citizens to safe areas in the coming time.
